The Color of Persistence

by C.A. Stanley
(Clinton, TN)

The Color of Valor

The Color of Valor

This is an acryllic on canvas I completed several months ago. I'm addicted to horses and colors as you can see.

I have had art classes from high school and took art history. I was also fortunate enough to live in Europe for over three years and adored the Louvre. In fact, my French teacher from high school told me in 1988 it would take two weeks attendance from the time they louvre opened until they closed to see every artwork in the museum. I spent one whole week of 1998, every day living off of bread, butter, and watered down wine just to attempt to see half.

I never really ask others if they like my art, only, what do they think? Each piece of art, to me, is special and takes its start as carefully as a newborn. I hate letting go of any of my pieces. But I love putting smiles on people's faces and seeing their excitement. Should you like to see more just email mail me at chrisanne.stanley@yahoo.com
