The Bijou Theatre Presents Richard Thompson’s 1000 Years of Popular Music

Richard Thompson has entertained multiple audiences from Chicago to London. This artist precise guitar playing and eclectic vocals will have audiences captivated as he shares and explores music from the last 1000 years. Though his show does vary nightly he roughly starts with music from the 13th century and goes through music history all the way to today’s pop music. Richard Thompson was named as one of the top twenty guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone magazine and has received a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award.

This outrageously wonderful show will be showing at the historic Bijou Theatre located at 803 S. Gay St. Knoxville, TN 37902. Showing one night only on January 21st 2008
