Smoky Mountain Deli @ the Chevron

If you like good Greek food, there's no better place in Knoxville to get a quick fix than at the Chevron in South Knoxville - just across the Henley Street Bridge from downtown Knoxville, and on the right.

Walk up to the deli counter, and you're likely to be greeted by the smiling face of Vera Pantanizopoulos-Broux. She can tell you most anything you want to know about the food offered by the deli, and the food offered is fantastic!

My favorite is their freshly-homemade hummus. They also carry excellent fresh olives, and prepare many other Greek dishes, including babaganuch, gyros and falafel sandwiches, Greek salads...ah, so good!!

If you're planning a party and need catering, or just need something fun to spice up an evening meal or just having the guys over for sports and beer, you can't beat the Smoky Mountain Deli @ Chevron for great Greek food!
