property

by patricia gardner
(chicago illinois)

How do I know if my family was left some property in Knoxville, Tennessee?

KnoxvilleBusiness.com Answer: Patricia, the best thing outside of finding out from your family lawyer is to check with the Knox County Register of Deeds.

If they can't help you, then you really do need to go through family ties to try to find out what's happened. Maybe you could look on ancestry.com to see who you're related to down here that might know something.

Good luck!
