How many people do you know who need a little hand doing some home organizing? After the holidays, there are new things to find places for and old things to store and weed out.

A sharp Knoxville Kidstormer can make money by offering to be the elf to magically get this task done.

Make up some flyers and buy or borrow a label maker. You may also want to buy a package or two of labels and some fine felt-tip markers for labels or pricing items for garage or tag sales.

On your flyer, show a picture of yourself with label maker in one hand and a glittery magic wand in the other and use slogans such as “Make Clutter Disappear Like Magic With Your Personal Organizer Elf!”

You can offer hourly rates or take flat price jobs as you wish. Be prepared to help sort things and label them if asked, to help put things away or take out trash, to decide what can be recycled or donated.

Before starting, call around to find who wants or needs things like used clothing, appliances, toys, art supplies and so forth and have that information ready for your clients.

A good way to get started would be to offer your services to your own mom, dad, or grandparents for free and use them as your first reference. What’s just a chore for most people could be fun for you and earn some money as well while really being helpful.

You might decide to offer your help for free to someone who is older or struggling as a service to your community. Who knows? You might even want to train other elves and run a service!
