Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Presents Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Brahms' Symphony No 3
Show is scheduled to entertain on Thursday, January 17th 2008 and on Friday, January18th 2008 at 8pm. Located at the Tennessee Theatre at 100 S. Gay Street Knoxville, TN 37902. Box Office Open from 9am to 5pm and can be contacted by phone at 865-291-3310 for tickets and for more information.
There is a special pre-concert discussion that will be held in the Tennessee Theatre Concert Hall at approximately 7pm. Doors will open at 6pm. This show is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes long including an intermission. Free parking is encouraged at the State Street Garage. The Tennessee Theatre is also handicap accessible please contact the box office at the number above to make arrangements.
Antonio Vivaldi composed the Four Seasons in 1723 with Four Seasons meaning that it is a set of 4 violin concertos. The Four Seasons is also known in Italian as Le Quattro Stagioni. The Four Seasons is well known to be Antonio Vivaldi’s greatest work. This concert is a Moxley Carmichael Masterwork and will be conducted by Lucas Richman and Violin by Mitchell Newman.
