Kids Business News: Custom Jewelry Sells Big

A great and easy idea for a child to make into a business is creating their own custom jewelry.

My cousin who is only 11 bought a jewelry making kit for like $20.00. The kit was easy to use, contained all the accessories she needed, and in no time, she had made a few unique and personalized pieces of jewelry.

They caught many people's eyes, including my own.

She then took the jewelry and sold it to help raise money for both her school and her church.

With her mom's help, she also sold some of her jewelry online for profit. Although this idea might not be for every child, one who is creative enough should make this idea flourish!
