TheCumberland House Hotel,1109 White Avenue, (865) 971-4663, is the only 100+ guest-room hotel in downtown Knoxville that is not operated by a franchise chain.

The owners chose to be independent so they could cater to our community, and try to be "Knoxville's Hotel." Walking distance from the Knoxville Convention Center, with an upscale restaurant, valet parking and a "pillow library," this is a brand new (built in 2005) jewel of downtown hotels.

The Hotel St. Oliver , 407 Union Avenue, (865) 521-0050, is in an historic building less than a block off Market Square Mall. Offering great prices, excellent location and unique charm, this boutique hotel decorates each of its 30 renovated rooms with antique furniture.
