Introducing Knoxville Kidstorming: the Business for Kids Place!

Our Knoxville Kidstorming series begins with an easy-to-implement kid's business plan I wrote that describes how children can earn a consistent small income which can be saved to help pay for their college education and other large future expenses.

Not only can the plan be lucrative, it also is a great lesson for children about the personal benefits of sharing with others.

I seriously believe the freebie that they'll be sharing to be one of the best, if not the best no-cost business models the world has ever seen. When implemented with my free business for kids plan, it makes a very powerful combination.

Consider these things:

  1. Children have more expendable income than nearly any other age group, and they do spend it.
  2. Kids are great salespeople! Every year, they sell $Billions in coupon books, popcorn, candy and Christmas tree ornaments to all varieties of professional adults - and their parents sell these things for their kids to their co-workers, church members, family and friends.
  3. Most businesses cost many $1,000s to start, and there's never a guarantee of success.
  4. This very real business is free to have and free to share, and it both saves and earns money.

Here's The Business for Kids Plan

  1. Tell your friends and family members who are parents or grandparents that you're starting a children's entrepreneurial club to help kids raise and save money for their college educations.
  2. Also, if you have children, make simple but fun invitations to the children's entrepreneur club and tell them the invitations are for their closest friends at school and in your neighborhood.
  3. The invitation should include that you're starting a children's entrepreneur club to raise money to save for college, and it should have instructions that invitees must share the invitation with their parents and ask their parents to call you if they're interested.
  4. When people respond with questions, tell them the Kid's Entrepreneur Club is free to join, and you have a simple business plan that is ready for the club to start working with (the one I'm describing right now).
  5. They'll likely ask about cost, at which point you'll say both the club and the kid's business don't require a monetary investment on the part of the children or the parents.
  6. They'll definitely ask "what's the plan?", and you'll say, "We teach kids about the benefits of sharing by helping them give away a free buyer's club.
  7. They'll also want to know what the buyer's club offers, and how kids make money. You'll share that the club offers discounts on most things you already buy, from the places that you already shop; and when entrepreneur club members they've recruited use the club to shop, that earns money you can put towards your child's future.
  8. At meetings of the club, give new members the same free Business for Kids plan and tools I've given you, so they can start their own Entrepreneur's club (which your child can also earn money from!).
  9. Use the gathered people to come up with other fun ways your growing Kid's Entrepreneur Club can give the free memberships away.
