Business for Kids: Room Cleaning Assistance for $3

My 11-year-old daughter offered room cleaning assistance last year to all of her friends and it was a big hit!

She charged $3 an hour to start and ended up realizing that she could charge more to some of her regular customers.

The emphasis was on "assistance"...the other kids didn't get off the hook for cleaning their rooms, they just had her help in organizing the clean-up and her company and assistance while they did.

It was very successful all-around, and she made enough money over the summer to buy her own school clothes for the next year.
