Business for Kids: Be a Candy Maker

If your child is adept in the kitchen, and not afraid to sell door-to-door (in pairs or groups for safety), he can make some money by making and selling fudge, toffee and so on.
Check the health regulations in your area -- children may be exempted for casual selling such as bake sales or fundraising.
Make sure your child is clear about the purpose of his business, as customers might assume he is raising money for a school or charity.
Baking is an excellent way to make a visible profit -- $5 of ingredients can turn into $20 very quickly, which will inspire your child to greater efforts!
Keep packaging simple, limit the 'menu' to a few tried-and-true items, and have fun!
