Joshua Russell In Uganda

Joshua Russell is a multi-instrumentalist performer and chef, at present living in Knoxville.

He was at one point time doing Cultural Anthropology at UT Knoxville, where graduated in the spring of 2005.

Afterwards, he perused other dreams of the culinary arts and then became the Executive Chef of incredibly two local Restaurants in Knoxville: Pasta Trio and Thailand Express.

Joshua has many causes about which he is passionate, including a musical charity called the Knoxville Jazz for Justice Team. Mr. Russell has been involved since its beginning in the spring of 2006.

In Joshua's life and dreams one of his goals has been to try and use music for healing, and the building process. A series of events, including the KJFJ 2006 benefit Concert and summer 2007 KJFJ Musicians for peace commencement, has brought Joshua's visions of music being a foundation for peace-building and healing process into actuality.

As he is part of the KJFJ team, Joshua has helped with the KJFJ benefit concert of 2006. Russell was also a member and part of the KJFJ envoy to Uganda in the time of the summer of 2007. He was recognized for the aforesaid actions on more than a few occasions, and plans to use this information for the formation of a multimedia appearance that will display the peace progression through the use of his musical talents.
